Ugliness!
Some people called the spare tire indent, on the trunk, a "toilet seat"
Is the 1960 Valiant ugly? Yes, at least to some people. Could it be the "toilet seat"
decoration in the back of the car or other things? Who knows. It is in the eye of the
beholder.
According to Victoria in the United Kindom: "The hands down favorite ugliest car of all time
is the 1960 Plymouth Valiant. UGH!!" If she refers to herself as Victoria instead of Vickie,
maybe she is looking for a classier car!
According to Roscoe: "Ugly is as Ugly does. Come on, the ugliest car on the list has to be the
60-62 Valiant. I owned 2 and they were ugly hands down to any American made car to date. They
were both very dependable cars and I sold one to a guy who said it was the most dependable car
he ever owned, but it was no chic magnet. Now a stupid looking car has other attributes than
an ugly car. Maybe the votes are being swayed because stupid and ugly are being confused. I
have seen uglier cars but they were made in forgein countries and that's a whole other story."
